October

Ghost of the laboratory
echos in the basement
Orange rust stains the floor
Time is lost behind the door

Extraction and modification
Flourish and decay
Lost and remains
Contradictory it contains

Pink, yellow, and green
Your body melts into a stream
I caught your soul with the mesh
Secrets hidden in your flesh

You flow with the wind,
dancing to my whistle
I will keep you in my casket
till the moment you fade

For “Echoes of the Biotope“ at KEL-30, my work responds to the physical remains of the past. Inspired by the history of the Biotoop Haren building, I approach my project as if it were a science experiment using found objects and organic materials. Through this process, I attempted to reconstruct a fictional history and seek the transformation of repurposed spaces. What has been lost? What endures? And what new elements are being created?
