Lu Ting Series// 盧亭系列
The Lu Ting Series （盧亭系列） was developed by referencing Chinese mythology. Rumors once said that the Lu Ting mermaids were the ancestors of Hong Kong people. Thousands of years ago, soldier LuXun (盧循) escaped from China with his subordinate to Lantau Island.
With a poetic metaphor, the series illustrated different social incidents that happened after the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement in 2019. It is also depicting the depressing atmosphere and sadness that deaths and injuries caused during the protests. This series of paintings is a memorial for those who fought against their fate.
